affecting individuals and considers the law’s coverage-related provisions, personal income tax changes affecting taxpayers
brought about by the law and the tax credits and tax penalties authorized under the law to help enforce the requirement that
individuals maintain minimum essential coverage.
After completing this course you will be able to:
- List the principal healthcare provisions of the ACA affecting individuals;
- Identify those individuals who may be exempt from the individual mandate; and
- Calculate the tax credits and tax penalties authorized under the law.
