Accounting CPE courses are designed to enhance CPAs knowledge in accounting matters. These courses cover a wide range of accounting topics, including principles of accounting, accounting for income taxes, governmental accounting, not-for-profit accounting, and cost management accounting. The Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) develops and issues financial accounting standards and promotes financial reporting that provides useful information to investors and others who use financial reports. The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) supports and oversees the FASB. Every year FASB publishes accounting standard updates. Web CPE’s accounting CPE courses help CPAs stay current on the changes in accounting standards.
Many specialized business areas have specific procedures of applying accounting principles. Web CPE provides CPE courses covering those explicit processes of applying accounting principles to those business areas, such as accounting for leases, accounting for foreign currencies, accounting for earnings per share, and accounting for changes and corrections.
