The course material and the learning objectives are provided online. You can download the course material for your use only (copying and distribution is prohibited). Study the material to learn and prepare for taking the final exam. Review questions (with interactive feedback) are provided at the end of each logical section of the course material to enhance your learning. Going through the review questions is not mandatory. A PDF version of the final test is provided (online for download) for the convenience of marking your answers as you go through the material. You can take the final exam whenever you are ready. The grading report is provided online immediately after you submit the final exam. The passing grade is 70% for all courses except the California Regulatory Ethics course, which requires a 90% passing grade. If you pass the exam, your certificate is immediately emailed to you. If you do not pass, you can retake the exam until you pass. For each CPE credit, there will be a minimum of 5 final exam questions 3 review questions

Yes, all our courses are interactive self-study courses. In review questions, feedbacks are provided with reasons on the incorrect answers and reinforcements on the correct answers. In the final exam with passing grades, given answers and correct answers are shown for incorrectly answered questions.

No, they are optional. You can take the final exam without completing the review questions.

Web CPE is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. All states accept our CPE courses. A few states require sponsor registration with them. Please see our state registration status by selecting the “State Registration” link at the top of our web page.

Our unlimited CPE package includes all courses except the ethics courses for CPAs. The package is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

When you pass the final exam of a course, the Certificate of Completion is emailed to you immediately. You can also get your certificate of any completed course by using the “My Completed courses” link on your dashboard and then clicking the “Download Certificate” link for that course. Your certificate of a course is available for 5 years from the date of completion.

Since the system allows you to retake the same final exam, it will not show you which questions you have missed for a failing score. Only when you pass the final exam you will see the questions you have missed with your answer and the correct answer for each question.

Individually purchased courses show on the “My Paid Courses” list and “My purchased Package” shows the courses you have added to the package to complete. When you click the course title on the list system provides you access to the course material, review questions, final exam, and also a pdf version of the final exam. You study the course material. The review questions are optional. When you are ready, you can take the final exam. If you pass the final exam, you have completed the course and the system issues you a certificate of completion.

The system provides a pdf version of the final exam, which you can download and also print.

Yes, you can save an incomplete final exam that you can complete at a later time. The system also saves your answers when you do not pass the final exam. You can change answers before submitting the exam for grading.

For an individually purchased course you have one year from the date of purchase to complete the course. For courses you are taking through a package, you have up to the package expiration date to complete the courses. A purchased package expires in one year from the date of purchase.

The IRS publishes guidelines for their approved CE course providers to report CE credits to the IRS system. Web CPE follows the IRS guidelines in reporting CE credits.

Yes, you can change your email address by using “Edit Profile” in the customer dashboard. Remember, the email address must be unique, duplicate emails are not allowed. Providing a correct email is very important. The system communicates with you by using the email address in your account.
