Ethics CPE for CPAs

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has established the set of ethical standards and Code of Professional Conduct that outline a CPA's ethical and professional responsibilities. The State Boards of Accountancy also provide state specific ethical and behavioral rules and regulations for CPAs registered with them. Some State Boards of Accountancy, such as California, Florida, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Washington, review and approve their ethics CPE courses and others accept courses offered by NASBA approved CPE course sponsors. Web CPE's ethics courses meet State Board requirements.

There are two subcategories of ethics CPE - regulatory ethics and behavioral ethics. Check your state board for your board specific requirements.

Ethics courses can be purchased individually. They cannot be taken under the unlimited CPE credits package.
